ABOUT SEVIERVILLE, TENNESSEE

Birthplace of Dolly Parton:


One of the things that Sevierville is most well known for is being the birthplace of Dolly Parton. As a world-renowned country artist and philanthropist, she continues to influence and improve our community. A bronze statue of the singer and her beloved guitar was erected in 1987 on the courthouse lawn and has been a must-visit spot for visitors and locals alike.

Sevierville is a gateway for visitors to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, the most visited national park in the United States. With Downtown Sevierville sitting only half an hour from the park’s entrance, it is the perfect stop for your Smoky Mountain adventure.
